About Derbyshire & the Peak District

Just minutes from our Sheffield Office, the Peak District National Park lies within Derbyshire, a County of East Midlands. With a population of around 780,000 it is a largely rural area.

Chesterfield is the largest town, but with 27% of the population living in rural areas that are often off-gas grid, heat pumps can offer a low carbon, greener way of providing heating and hot water for your home. Fuel cost savings against oil, LPG, and solid fuel can also be attractive and without the hassle of arranging deliveries.

Derbyshire Council have made commitments to reduce to zero the greenhouse gasses of its own portfolio of buildings by 2032 and being carbon neutral by 2030.

Homeowners can tap into the Green Homes Grant Voucher Scheme and the Renewable Heat Incentive to help with the costs of installing heat pumps in their homes.
