The real benefit for me is the optimisation against my electricity tariff and the resulting savings. Being on the Octopus Agile tariff, I would have to check the half hourly rates and reset the heat pump schedule every evening. Havewise's algorithms do that automatically for me and much better than I ever could.

IMS were brilliant from start to finish. They fitted my Adia enabled heat pump in just 3-4 days without touching the pipes or radiators, and I even kept my old cylinder. With the BUS grant it cost about the same as a new gas boiler. I live in a typical brick house that isn’t well insulated, but with Adia optimising to my Octopus Cosy tariff, hot water and comfort are better than before and my bills haven’t gone up.”

My experience of Homely has been effortless. Heat pump ownership involves a good bit of tinkering and monitoring. Homely takes that all away: it couples perfectly with my time-of-use tariff and is super-efficient. No input needed on the part of the homeowner. My energy costs have gone down significantly. “Our old, environmentally-unfriendly and energy-guzzling storage heaters and immersion heater have been replaced with a 10kW Arotherm Plus air source heat pump which is keeping our house at a pleasant temperature and providing copious amounts of hot water while using a fraction of the energy.
