IMS Heat Pumps has just completed a very unusual installation at a property that historically had no central heating system other than an open fire.
The project involved a full, new radiator heating system working alongside a Vaillant aroTHERM plus heat pump in rural Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

This award-winning heat pump uses the natural refrigerant R290. This refrigerant is commonly used in many household appliances. It offers many advantages over refrigerants traditionally used in heat pumps including increased efficiencies and a very low Global Warming Potential (GWP) making the carbon savings even more attractive.
