We have many heat pump projects underway across the UK in areas that provide offgrid opportunities for hot water and heating systems. This specific project features work in progress on a new self build property in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. This project involves the installation of a top of the range 19kW Vaillant flexoTHERM ground source heat pump, ground trenching loop system and underfloor heating. This option is suitable for applications where adequate available space is available to install a horizontal ground collector (as pictured) or, where land is limited, a vertical borehole solution can be provided as long as the site is accessible by a drilling rig.
