We are delighted to announce a double win for two of our talented engineers, Ben and Charlie, at the prestigious ACR & Heat Pump Trainee of the Year Awards. The brothers achieved an incredible milestone, taking home both Gold and Silver in the highly competitive Heat Pump Trainee Engineer category.

Ben, who joined us in 2021 with a passion for hands-on work and a commitment to learning, was awarded the Gold Award for his exceptional leadership and technical skills during the installation of a ground source heat pump. Managing every aspect of the project, from welding ground loops to commissioning the system, Ben demonstrated the expertise and professionalism of a seasoned engineer.

Charlie, also with us since 2021, received the Silver Award for his standout retrofit project. Charlie replaced an outdated oil boiler with a modern air source heat pump, overcoming challenges with professionalism and delivering a high-quality result. His attention to detail and ability to adapt to unexpected circumstances impressed the judges.
Both brothers began their careers with us with limited hands-on heat pump experience but quickly rose to the challenge, becoming fully qualified engineers within two years. Their dedication, technical ability, and focus on customer satisfaction embody the very best of what the renewable energy sector strives to achieve.

“Huge congratulations to Ben and Charlie for this outstanding achievement,” said Luke Begley, Installation Manager for England. “Their growth, hard work, and commitment to excellence have been remarkable, and this recognition is well-deserved. They represent the future of our industry, and we are incredibly proud to have them on our team.”
