Grand Designs Live – Birmingham 2026
We’re heading to Grand Designs Live at the NEC Birmingham this October.
Taking place from 2–4 October 2026, Grand Designs Live brings together experts, products and ideas for anyone planning a self-build, renovation or home improvement project.
If you’re thinking about making your home warmer, more energy efficient or less reliant on fossil fuels, come and talk to the IMS team on Stand B15.
We’ll be there to answer your questions about heat pumps, solar panels and battery storage, whether you’re just starting to explore your options or already have plans underway. Good home energy design starts early, so if renewables are part of your plans, it’s worth thinking about how everything could work together from the outset.
We have a little Grand Designs history of our own…One of our heat pump installations has already made an appearance on Channel 4’s Grand Designs.
Our team designed and installed the heating system for an energy-efficient home in Ashbourne, including an air source heat pump and 3,000 metres of underfloor heating. Eagle-eyed viewers could even spot our engineer Luke at work during the episode. Read about our Grand Designs project.
